Is a skin quiz worth it? Guess what? Those Digital Skin Customizing brands (& quizzes) you see are more of the same old, same old.
Why Is A Digital Skin Quiz Ineffective?
If you take enough of the digital skin care quizzes, you will notice the exact same patterns emerging. These companies ask you questions and make you feel important because you are the focus of their “customization” process. However, in reality, it is more of a marketing scheme and an e-commerce strategy, serving up the same outdated and highly ineffective (in my book Relearning Skincare, The Story Of Skin & The New Way) “solutions.” An attempt to increase cold transactions while looking like a hero.
Only a knowledgeable person who understands skin care, works with your unique quirks can give you customized care that is accurate for your skin. Only a real person can adjust your homecare routine to follow the progression your skin is making and take your skin successfully through the natural healing phases. If your skin is not progressing through a sequence of healing stages, then you may want to consider that your skin health is stalled or going in reverse.
The Bottom Line On Skin Quizzes
The oily, dry, combination, sensitive skin that you currently experience are all just symptoms of skin that is out of balance, and these symptoms/types can be truly and deeply cured (not just on the surface) with the right approach, not with just more stale digitized bandaids.
As I am writing, I am realizing that my main complaint isn’t about these digitized skin quizzes or “personalized formulas”…it is more that they are still using the old “operating system”. Digitizing this just adds insult to injury. In the spirit of being “part of the solution, not the problem”, I have decided to construct my own “skin quiz” that will draw from my new medi-holistic protocols for successfully treating skin. The Serum Selection Chart on my website will be expanded with more details to offer a Skin Quiz that is worthwhile. Stay tuned for a breathe of fresh air. Alas, outdated Skin Quizzes will never be helpful in any setting. Live consultations with a progressive medi-holistic approach will always always be better…and I suppose the matching Skin Quiz would be the next best thing.
